This past week-end was a very tragic one for those of us in Cedar City. As some of you might have seen on the news there was a horrible plane crash in Moab. My friend lost her husband and father-in law, James lost a friend, our friends lost a mother and an Aunt. There is a link for condolences for any of you wishing to leave a message. I know they would love to hear from you and feel of your love and support during this difficult time. My heart goes out to all of you that have been affected by this tragic loss
I cannot say that I know, just how you feel
For your hurt is so great, and will take God's touch to heal
Yet is it possible for such a wound, to completely ever mend
When you've lost your mate, parent, child or good friend?
Please know that I pray for you, each and every day
And feel God's Holy Spirit, in small and simple ways
And then I am reminded, of such a simple phrase
With all the strength that's in you, please walk by faith
So come to me and talk about, anything you feel
For I'll be here in body, but Christ will soon reveal
That while it is impossible, for a friend to end your pain
HE will bring about a peace, and in your hurt sustain

I'm sorry for the lost. When loved ones become memories the memories become treasures.
Wow, Trecia, that is such a beautiful & eloquent post. I cried all the way through reading it. I am sorry for the loss that the whole town is experiencing. These scriptures gave me some comfort when my Dad was killed: Psalm 31:5"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning"
Isaih 25:8 "He will swallow up death in victory: and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces" Our prayers are with you all.
P.S. thank you so much for the sweet compliment you left on my blog, I cherish it.
What a tragic loss. All the families affected are in our prayers. My father-in-law said some were from his stake.
Oh I'm sure they were. I don't think one person in Cedar City didn't know at least one of the 10 people. They were all well known and loved through out our town. Thanks everyone for the kind words, it has been really hard.
=Love you all
That is such a sad tragedy, it must be really crazy in Cedar City right now, I feel so bad for all of the families especially the ones with young children. I can't imagine losing Robby and having to pick up and move on!
Our family were really good friends with the Shumways, it wasd such a shock to hear about Keith being in that accident. We are praying for all of their families, thanks for the sweet post!
