Is Dumbledore Gay?
Well I am very angry to let you all know that it is true! Straight from the horses mouth-she--
Rowling made the revelation at New York’s Carnegie Hall during her North American book tour, in response to an audience question about whether Dumbledore ever found “true love.”
“I always thought Dumbledore is gay,” the author told the packed house.
She went on to explain that the character had fallen in love as a young man with Gellert Grindelwald. Grindelwald was later drawn to the dark arts, leaving Dumbledore “horribly, terribly let down.
“Falling in love can blind us to an extent,” the author said.
I never thought the day would come that, I, who own these books in the British version, the American version, in paperback, waited in very long lines to see the movies, went to 2 opening book nights, have seen Harry Potter 5 three times, (and the list can go on and on and on), am very disappointed in JK. Why does it even need to be an issue? What does it even matter?I am very let down on this sad day of revelation. I look up at my neatly stacked and straighten, very used, and much loved Harry Potter Books and am torn at what to think or do?
